These definitely make multiple followers a worthwhile endeavor. You can tone them both down some, if you like, with the MCM. I use both of these together, with pretty wild results. (Not to be confused with the surface spawn portion of Genesis Unleashed, which deals only with the exteriors of the dungeons.) There is also Genesis Surface Spawns Leveled (or Unleveled) which does the same thing for the roads and wilds of Skyrim. Unleashed can also populate mod-added dungeons.) Instead of that version of Genesis, look for the newer version Genesis Unleashed Leveled (or unleveled.one keeps enemies near your level, the other spawns who knows what. I haven't tried this one yet but I will on a new character I found this mod that spawns more enemies dynamically On my first playthrough I never took companions with me because I played the game. I recommend only using one follower or the game becomes too easy Dwemer Dogs companions Dogs, as the entire internet will tell you, are great. However, once he can be acquired for free, he's a worthwhile follower, especially for Dragonborn mages and archers. Until the Companions questline is completed, Vilkas is only an occasional companion.
